mrs. german and mrs. mcgrath arrived this week to visit jacqui and tori, and as much as i've enjoyed my freedom this semester, it certainly is comforting to have moms around... especially moms who pregame with us and treat us to the most delicious meals. i know creme brulee is french and therefore a little out of place among all this italian fare, but lets call it practice for this weekend in paris. and who doesn't prefer their desserts a fuoco?

 i'm starting to come to terms with the fact that this is not and probably never will be a real food blog, being as i hardly ever manage to do anything other than post enticing pictures and say whatever it is was sooOo good. that being said, i'm going to carry on with both my mediocre blogging and my sad attempts to be the younger, more law-abiding martha stewart.  i still want her collection of birkin bags though.
