two years of work on the design, 250 mulberry moth cocoons, and 40 minutes of hand stitching later, and you have yourself an hermes scarf. or, as i prefer to call it, the best birthday gift evaa. even better than the test tube set i got for my 13th birthday!! ahh yes, my nerdy days...
and thanks to the refined tastes and decision making skills of ang, mo, and chels, it only took me approximately 25 minutes to pick the big winner! after patiently unfolding and refolding about 20 scarves for my viewing pleasure, the accommodating salesman whisked away my choice and returned it perfectly wrapped up in the classic orange box.
