today is a beautiful day.

not just because the sun is shining, there is a plane ticket to mexico with my name on it, and i have delicious dinner plans this evening. no, it's beautiful because i came to a realization: 

bad habits do, in fact, pay off.

a little envelope from starbucks, tucked neatly in my mailbox today, serves as proof.

the obscene amount of time and money i have wasted "studying" there has finally proved beneficial. yours truly is now an official gold card member (!!!), which means free soy milk and syrups, the occasional free beverage, and my own personalized, glittery card. wahoo. 

...ok, so it's not that exciting. but in this brisk, midterm-filled week, it doesn't take much to get a girl excited. and seriously, i live in centre county... what did you expect, something interesting?
