just not all at the same time."
while this valentines day may not be the kind based on romantic love, i much prefer what i've got: the best friends in the world. last night's dinner party was my ode to each of them
(those based in state college, at least).
i spent the better part of this weekend planning my menu, prepping my desserts and compiling the best playlist i could scrape up from my sad little itunes account. as it turned out, our lack of proper seating led to an impromptu picnic on the floor and our extreme hunger wasn't conducive to taking cute pre-meal pictures, so there aren't any. conversation & laughter replaced any need for music and, despite the fact that not everything went as planned, it was perfect.
so thank you to cait, tori, kristina, chels, and ang for being my valentines and some of the most intelligent, hilarious, beautiful and loving girls i know.
{and for those who are curious, the roast chicken with dijon sauce was incredibly simple and equally delicious!}
