la la la it's the most wonderful time of the year!

typically, new york fashion week means constantly stalking style.com and fashionista for photos, interviews, and updates on all things sartorial. this year was a little different, and not just because i was there in person amid the backstage frenzy (and tall skinny babes)...no biggie.  having spent the summer at vena cava watching lisa, sophie, and the production team create art from nothing but inspiration boards and bolts of fabric, i was better able to see something so seemingly superficial as part of a bigger, more inspired whole.
