it's been one of those weeks: wildly fun, a little weird, full of surprises, and overall a success.

amy and johnny pulled a fast one on tuesday and showed up at my door unexpectedly, leading to a night of delicious food, (clearly) reckless bonding, and a few minor mishaps.  combine that with a penn state reunion of sorts and a 5 hour trip to the emergency room to be my friend's designated hand-holder, and you can imagine why my little heart needs a break.  thankfully i have an avalon weekend ahead of me to catch up with good friends and soak in the dirty jerz sun.
